Eugene Pette from Detroit, Michigan volunteers his time helping out at the Golden Gate Cafe in Highland Park. Pette served as a Captain in U.S. Army from 1978 to 1988. “I grew up a lot in my first year in the service, above all to be proud, have respect and tolerance for others,” said Pette.
